About:

Saint Dorothy of Caesarea, a 4th-century virgin martyr, is known for her unwavering faith and the miraculous events surrounding her death. When faced with persecution during the reign of Emperor Diocletian, she refused to renounce Christianity and was condemned to death. On her way to execution, she was mocked by a lawyer named Theophilus, who asked her to send him flowers and fruits from her bridegroom's garden. Miraculously, an angel appeared with a basket of roses and apples, which Dorothy sent to Theophilus. Theophilus, upon seeing the heavenly gifts, converted to Christianity and was later martyred.
