Saint John Nepomucene’s feast day is on May 16th. He is the patron saint of Bohemia. He is known as the martyr of the confessional due to his loyalty to the Queen of the time. John Nepomucene was known as a great preacher and became the Queen’s confessor. The Queen’s jealous husband ordered him to prison and eventually ordered for him to be drowned in a river. A spot of brightness was found in the river in the place where he drowned.
